The ILCA French Internationals, a flagship event of the summer season, was held in Marseillan on a race area exposed to thermal effects that saw four days of races in variable wind conditions.
Strong showing by YCM members at Cowes Dinard St Malo Race

Cowes Dinard St Malo Race attracted a fleet of 184 boats as it marked the centenary of the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC). The gun was fired at 11:00 on Friday 11 July from the Royal Yacht Squadron for a race that took contestants on a 151 nautical mile course to St Malo on the Britanny coast via Dinard.
Bart Weduwer completes the Aegean 600

Yacht Club de Monaco member Bart Weduwer has just completed the 5th Aegean 600 aboard Encounter, competing in the IRC 2 category, one of 59 entrants all classes combined.

This Friday 11 July at 11:00 the Royal Yacht Squadron cannons will signal the start of the Cowes Dinard St Malo Race, one of the oldest and most iconic races on the British sailing calendar. With 184 boats and 1,000 sailors representing 43 countries, the race has attracted an outstanding international fleet for the 151 nautical mile course from the Isle of Wight to the Britanny coast via Dinard.

Team Malizia snatches 4th place

After six days of intense racing round the British Isles, Malizia-Seaexplorer crossed the finish of the Course des Caps in 4th on Saturday evening in Boulogne-sur-Mer. It was an impressive performance for the IMOCA, skippered by Will Harris on this occasion who is usually the boat’s co-skipper alongside Boris Herrmann.
Monaco well-placed in Porto Cervo

The 21st Coppa Europa Smeralda 888 concluded on Sunday in typical Sardinian conditions, light airs on the first day then flat calm on the Saturday before a Mistral kicked in and shook up the fleet in the final races.
In what is now a well-established event on the calendar since 2001, Yacht Club de Monaco again more than held their own with several teams at the forefront of a compact competitive fleet.
