Everything you need to know about the event

The Business Symposium is an annual meeting organised by the Yacht Club de Monaco which is focused on the economic, strategic and technological challenges facing the yachting industry. It brings together shipyards, brokers, captains and maritime experts.

The event is held at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

The Business Symposium federates key players across the yachting industry including owners, captains, naval architects, design firms, shipyards, brokers, insurers, etc.

Topics include the impact on yachting of geopolitics and economic tensions, evolution of maritime traffic, insurance, the energy and technological transition, market developments (Middle East, Asia, the Americas), and the integration of tools such as the SEA Index® to measure the environmental efficiency of superyachts.

The Symposium is part of the collective ‘Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting’ strategy. It reinforces Monaco’s position as an international yachting hub, facilitates networking, anticipates major developments in the sector and highlights the Principality’s maritime ecosystem.

Entry is by invitation or registration. A report and photos are published by the YCM after the event.

For participants, attending the symposium enables them to:

  • Anticipate changes in the superyacht market.
  • Develop strategic contacts.
  • Benefit from business data and sector-specific studies.
  • Position their company or yacht in an approach focused on innovation and responsibility.

The Business Symposium generates reliable data on the yachting economy (jobs, revenue, supply chains), identifies market opportunities (eg: Middle East, Asia), promotes tools like the SEA Index® and encourages the sector to adapt to a changing world.
