“Bouchons-nous pour la mer”: expo of recycled art by FANB pupils at Yacht Club de Monaco
From Friday 6 June, Yacht Club de Monaco’s Sports Section is hosting an exhibition entitled ‘Bouchons-nous pour la mer’ of artworks based on recycled bottle tops by pupils at the François d’Assise Nicolas Barré middle school in Monaco. An artistic gesture at a crossroads of education and the environment.
10th place for the Sports Section’s young crew
The eagerly awaited Light Cruisers French Championship held at Saint-Raphaël concluded this weekend with ten races in the bag to decide the winners. Among the 14 teams, Yacht Club de Monaco’s crew on Jehol maintained a good pace throughout the meeting to clinch a well-deserved 10th place.
Silver group for YCM
Yacht Club de Monaco’s disabled-able-bodied pairings were competing in the North Cup, a national Hansa class regatta held at Berck in the Hauts-de-France, where 43 teams from across France were in action.
3rd place for Pietro Carlevaris and podium for Mona Benchekroun
Yacht Club de Monaco’s young racers were out in force for this interleague regatta held in Canet-en-Roussillon 30 May-1 June. Seven races were completed over the three days.
Monaco in the fray
Hyères bay hosted the 5th Porquerolle’s Race, an event that has become a regular fixture on the Mediterranean calendar. Despite very light-wind conditions throughout the four days, crews managed with all the finesse and patience required to take full advantage of every race.

Sanremo once again hosted the Grandi Regate Internazionali that attracts many of the most beautiful classic boats on the Mediterranean circuit.

Victory for G-Spot, helmed by Matteo Marenghi Vaselli from Yacht Club de Monaco with a solid run of rankings (7-11-5-9-1-4-1-5) and five races in the top 5.

The 16th Voiles de Cassis played out on sparkling blue waters with 36 classic yachts racing beneath Cap Canaille.
