In 2026, as part of its public service remit to enhance the Principality’s appeal the Club confirms its role as a focal point of activity in Port Hercule and an international platform, while reinforcing its environmental and societal responsibility commitments. Top-level sport, youth training, the sustainable transition and maritime heritage define a year of events providing an arena for exchanges to build the future of yachting.

SEA Index® Expands to the Caribbean. The Superyacht Eco Association (SEA Index®), an initiative by the Yacht Club de Monaco, proudly announces the institutional membership of Port de Gustavia, marking a strategic expansion into the French Antilles and reinforcing its leadership in sustainable yachting across the Atlantic. To date, more than 20 ports and marinas across the Mediterranean (France, Monaco, Italy) and the Seychelles have signed on.

MonaCube: Yacht Club de Monaco in Top 5 most efficient buildings

At the closing ceremony on 14 October 2025 for the MonaCube competition in the Auditorium of the Lycée Rainier III, Yacht Club de Monaco stood out in the top five. Launched by the Department of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, the aim of the competition was to encourage public and community stakeholders in the Principality to reduce their energy consumption. Out of the 25 buildings participating, YCM’s Clubhouse came 5th having achieved 8.9% energy savings in one year, totalling 303MWh.

NatPower H and Yacht Club de Monaco strengthen technical partnership for a hydrogen-powered future at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2025

Building on the success of last year, NatPower H is reaffirming its commitment to sustainable yachting by expanding its partnership with the Yacht Club de Monaco. As the official hydrogen supplier for the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2025, NatPower H will provide hydrogen to support all competing teams throughout the event, which takes place from July 2nd to July 5th, 2025.

Committed to sustainable yachting, Tony Parker achieves SEA Index® certification with his M/Y Infinity Nine

The list of SEA Index® certified superyachts continues to expand with the addition of the 35m M/Y Infinity Nine built by AvA Yachts in 2022 and owned by Yacht Club de Monaco member Tony Parker. The former NBA champion received the certificate from Yacht Club de Monaco (YCM) President HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco at an official ceremony. Since its launch in 2020 by YCM and Credit Suisse (a UBS brand), this system for assessing the environmental impact of superyachts has certified 55 yachts, reinforcing its role as a reference for sustainable yachting.
