An intergenerational festival celebrates the sea

Once again a rich and varied programme awaited all generations as Yacht Club de Monaco joined forces with Monegasque nautical and environmental institutions to organise the annual Fête de la Mer on Saturday 21 June. Several hundred turned out for this fun festive day in the YCM Marina with families, sea enthusiasts and stakeholders making the most of the watersports and educational activities available to all.

Yacht Club de Monaco members once again did YCM proud on the international scene at the Swan One Design Worlds held 17-21 June in Porto Cervo, Sardinia.
Victory for Pierre Casiraghi at the British IRC National Championship

Pierre Casiraghi, Vice-President of Yacht Club de Monaco, has just clinched an important win at the helm of Jolt 6 during the British IRC National Championship, held as part of the 250th celebrations of the Royal Thames Yacht Club. The result confirms the performance momentum generated around the Jolt project led by YCM member Peter Harrison.
A great performance from Anne Schouten

Last weekend, Anne Schouten, a member of the all-female Pink Wave group of sailors who race at the Yacht Club de Monaco was competing at the Helga Cup in Hamburg. It’s the biggest women’s sailing event in the world organised by Norddeutscher Regatta Verein (NRV), a famous club that the IMOCA Malizia-Seaexplorer skipper, Boris Herrmann, also belongs.
Viola wins the day

The Porquerolle’s Classic ended on Sunday in ideal conditions for what turned out to be an intense regatta where tactical decisions often made the difference.
Edward Wright wins bronze

The 5.5 World Championship was held in Sopot, Poland from 9-13 June with 20 international teams on the start lines. Yacht Club de Monaco was represented by Edward Wright on Ku-Ring-Gai III who pulled off a fine performance to come 3rd overall after nine races.
YCM on form

.The Giraglia Loro Piana, the oldest offshore regatta in the Mediterranean concluded another packed edition of four days of inshore racing in Saint-Tropez from 7 to 10 June, followed by an offshore race starting midday on 11 June.

As the curtain came down on the 30th Voiles d’Antibes, Yacht Club de Monaco was again very well represented and did the Club proud.

From 5 to 8 June the town of Baiona in Galicia hosted stage 3 of the 52 SUPER SERIES 2025, the Galicia Royal Cup that is a highlight of the season for one design specialists in the TP52 class.
