Eager to support them in their yachting practices and choice of destinations, the Yacht Club de Monaco has evolved its concept by creating ‘La Belle Classe Destinations.’
The goal is to offer a standard of excellence for marinas, whether in terms of service quality, environmental protection, integration and involvement in the local community, with the essential presence of a yacht club. Agreements have been signed in Brazil, as well as in Asia, including with the Visun Royal Yacht Club, the first signatory in China of this exclusive network.
The development of yachting involves training, particularly through ‘La Belle Classe Academy.’ Dedicated to owners, but also to yachting professionals (captains, management, and other professionals…), crew members, or future sailors, this training center, based in the Y.C.M. facilities, offers a curriculum alternating between technical modules on navigation and boating, with a strong focus on ‘The Art of Living the Sea’ onboard. The ambition is to encourage the growth of yachting and the promotion of professions in this expanding sector.
Courtesy and solidarity are true common denominators among people of the sea, who strive to uphold these human values
Protecting the sea and oceans to build a sustainable future, measuring and limiting the carbon footprint both in the construction and operation of the Yacht Club and the Marina, paying special attention to the materials used, water treatment and recycling (…) are some of the missions to which the Yacht Club de Monaco is committed.
Giving a maritime DNA, by fostering a nautical atmosphere in both interior and exterior designs, is essential to be attractive and assert one’s belonging and attachment to the world of yachting.
To inspire vocations, train the staff of the various facilities, in a club spirit, contribute to the development of the destination by offering employment opportunities and generating economic impact.
