Bodhi Van Der Linden wins Silver

Organised by the Spinnaker Sailing Club, BUCS-BUSA Team Racing Finals gathered the elite of British university sailors. A flagship event on the national calendar, it pits the best UK teams against each other after particularly testing regional qualifier events.

Among the many talented sailors was Bodhi Van Der Linden, formerly on the Yacht Club de Monaco’s competition team in the Sports Section, who won a silver medal. Having competed with such success in Optimist and then ILCA classes, he is currently pursuing his studies at a business school in England and is clearly managing to juggle academic demands with excellent sailing results. This podium finish is the culmination of an exemplary path so far and proof of his constant dedication and hard work, on the water and at university. A fantastic result for one of the ambassadors trained at the YCM.
