Podium for Fast Light

Congratulations to Yacht Club de Monaco member Carlo d’Amelio who pulled of a fine 3rd place in ORC aboard his Pogo 50 Fast Light at the end of the 32nd Roma per Uno, Due, Tutti. The event lived up to its status as a Mediterranean classic alongside the Palermo-Montecarlo which celebrates 20 years this year.
Tenacity put to the test

The ILCA 6 Youth European Championship concluded in Vilamoura after six days of intense competition between 360 young sailors from 43 countries. Variable weather conditions throughout the week, with wind shifts, gusts up to 22 knots, sunny days and rain, tested even the most seasoned sailors determination.

Building on the success of last year, NatPower H is reaffirming its commitment to sustainable yachting by expanding its partnership with the Yacht Club de Monaco. As the official hydrogen supplier for the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2025, NatPower H will provide hydrogen to support all competing teams throughout the event, which takes place from July 2nd to July 5th, 2025.

Benjamin Ferrand (M/Y Victoria Del Mar) wins over Jury

The curtain has fallen on the 6th Superyacht Chef Competition. Organised by Yacht Club de Monaco’s La Belle Classe Academy training centre and Bluewater, this year’s high-stakes culinary contest was won by Benjamin Ferrand (M/Y Victoria Del Mar – 50m). Nine chefs working on superyachts ranging from 36m to 97m lined up on the quay to showcase their talents to a jury of experts and a captivated audience. Under strict time and space constraints, and a basket of mystery ingredients to work with, contestants skilfully created one dish after another, juggling metronomic timings, refined textures and pin-precise seasonings.
YCM’s talented youngsters in action

Yacht Club de Monaco’s Optimist fleet were in action in the Interligue Sud in Marseille where windy conditions saw four races completed in the younger Benjamin group and five in the older Minime category.
Swiss precision by the Monegasques

The Monegasque delegation of young sailors from the Sports Section did the Club proud at the ILCA Europa Cup in Lugano. In ILCA 6, Louise Debeaumont produced a fine performance to come 12th out of 48 contestants in this highly competitive group. It included a 6th place for the first race, proof of her potential against an experienced European elite.
