Terrible Joy shines at SNIM
Demanding variable conditions reigned in Marseille for the 59th Semaine Nautique Internationale de Méditerranée (SNIM). Among big names competing this week was Terrible Joy (MON 2211), the Cape 31 of Yacht Club de Monaco member Loïc Pompée. Despite being at the helm of the smallest boat in the IRC 2 category, he achieved a superb 3rd place, winning five of the seven races completed.
He had an excellent crew comprising Pierre Quiroga (winner of the Solitaire du Figaro 2021), Aymeric Arthaux and Adrien de Belloy. The regatta was a key stage in preparations for the 2025 season to fine tune the boat’s settings and accumulate more hours of sailing for Loïc Pompée.
