From 5-8 March, the 42nd Primo- Cup-UBS Trophy, organised in partnership with UBS and support of Monaco City Hall and equipment supplier North Sails, will see over 350 sailors from nine nations descend on the waters off Monaco.
Monegasque Laser sailors shine at the top in Mediterranean Championship in Hyères

The ILCA Mediterranean Championship held at Hyères 28 February to 1st March was a qualifier regatta for the French Youth Championships. On this famously technically demanding venue, the Monegasque sailors did well in all categories. In this qualifier regatta, the Monegasque Laser sailors finished at the top of the rankings confirming the momentum behind this group.
Optimist competition team lives up to its promise in Valencia

From 26 February to 1st March, Valencia was an epicentre of the Optimist class as 408 contestants from 30 nations converged on the Real Club Náutico de Valencia for the 8th OptiOrange, a highly competitive international regatta. The Optimist competition team lived up to its promise confirming that this new generation belong at this level, as they are learning fast and progressing to keep in contact with the best.
Consistency pays at ILCA Portugal Grand Prix

In Vilamoura the 8th Portugal Grand Prix attracted a large fleet in the ILCA 7 category, including the top international sailors. With 90 contestants, a light but stable wind throughout the regatta and negligible gaps, consistency was key to staying in the game.
In such technically demanding conditions, consistency does indeed pay as proven by Jérémy Moutout’s result.
Winning streak continues for YCM members

Exceptional conditions with steady trade winds, choppy seas and a battle of the giants, on a legendary course around 11 islands, saw the winning streak continue for YCM members. The 2026 edition was lively and spectacular, at times almost surreal, with the Monaco sailors maintaining their positions in the rankings. For the 17th RORC Caribbean 600, technical mastery, judging weather forecasts and precise strategies made the difference. The result was overall domination at the top and an offshore spectacle at the highest level.
Inclusive sailing at YCM for all seasons

‘Inclusive sailing at YCM for all seasons’ is not just a slogan but a guiding principle at the heart of Yacht Club de Monaco’s sports policy. With training camps, bespoke regattas and a fleet adapted to accommodate able-bodied and sailors with a disability, sailing for everyone is well developed at the YCM. And it was in this spirit of inclusion, transmission and sharing that from 18 to 21 February the Monegasque venue hosted the first national Hansa 303 training camp of the season.
YCM Maxis dominate in the Caribbean

The 4th RORC Nelson’s Cup Series held 17-20 February once again transformed the race area of Antigua into a stage that witnessed some spectacular confrontations. During the intense coastal races and the main Antigua 360 event, sailors battled it out in typical Caribbean conditions, with trade winds blowing 18 to 20 knots, a choppy sea, sunshine and constant pressure.
Podium for Mark Slotboom in U16

From 14-17 February 2026, sailors from the Yacht Club de Monaco were competing in the Italia Cup, an Italian national event that attracted nearly 400 entrants divided into three ILCA categories. Complex logistics and conditions left their mark on this meeting with the result that only four races were validated over the four days. But despite the constraints, the Monegasques pulled some fine performances out of the bag as evidenced by Mark Slotboom’s podium finish in the U16 and 11th place overall.
