Throughout the year, the Yacht Club de Monaco’s training center is committed to promoting and advancing careers in the yachting industry.
As an officially recognized training center by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), it offers RYA Level 1 and 2 courses in motorboat handling. Additionally, with its IAMI GUEST certification, the center provides internationally accredited courses. Through La Belle Classe Academy, the Y.C.M. actively encourages professional development in the yachting sector, thus shaping the future of this industry.

Since its creation in 2020 by the Yacht Club de Monaco and Credit Suisse (a brand of the UBS Group), the SEA Index® has established itself as the benchmark system for assessing the environmental impact of superyachts. Through transparent and impartial evaluation, the SEA Index® enables stakeholders to easily assess and compare the environmental impact of yachts. The official certification of the SEA Index® is verified and issued by Lloyd’s Register, and it offers online tools like the Lifecycle Emissions Calculator, developed in partnership with RINA to assess operational efficiency.
