• Location: Monégasque Academy of the Sea & Monaco Yacht Club
  Participants in this course will spend the mornings enjoying activities at Larvotto Beach and the afternoons sailing with us on dinghies.

  Practical Information:

• All diving equipment is provided (wetsuit, lycra suit, fins, mask, snorkel, etc.).

• Each child will receive a diving logbook and a lunch box at the beginning of the course.

• A changing room is available at the school.

• Participants must bring their own picnic lunch.

• Price: €610 per week

• Minimum age required: 13 years

• Theme : In line with the YCM’s sailing policy, having been initiated in the Melges 20 class in 2013 at the instigation of Valentin Zavadnikov, then the J/70s, the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series is a monthly programme of regattas and training weekends for one-design boats from December to March.

  It has proved a very successful format with more than 350 sailors coming from across Europe to set up their winter training base in the Principality to prepare for the upcoming season’s big meetings.

• Theme : The 3ᵉ edition of the Navicap Challenge – Elena Sivoldaeva Trophy kicks off.Organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco, this inclusive regatta brings together able-bodied and disabled sailors to share their common passion for sailing. With the participation of some sixty international crews, representing nations such as England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Monaco, this competition is part of a unique dynamic, combining sporting performance and human values.

• The elite of Team Racing meet in Monaco for the Monaco Optimist Team Race. Competitors under the age of 15, divided into 16 teams of four sailors, compete on equal terms. At the end of the round-robin phase, in which all the teams meet, the quarter-finals and semi-finals take place, before the finals, the highlight of the show. Winning as many matches as possible to place your team at the top of the table is the common goal of all competitors. Organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco, the Monaco Optimist Team Race has become a global benchmark for young international racers.

• Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen, is celebrated every year on this summer day, organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco in collaboration with all Monegasque institutions (Monaco Town Hall, Société Nautique de Monaco, Association des Pontons de Monaco, Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Oceanographic Museum, Monaco Underwater Exploration Club, Association Monégasque de la Protection de la Nature…).
• Port Hercule will once again be celebrating the Fête de la Mer, with a large parade at sea. Sailing, motoring, rowing (…), all craft are welcome to take part.
