• The elite of Team Racing meet in Monaco for the Monaco Optimist Team Race. Competitors under the age of 15, divided into 16 teams of four sailors, compete on equal terms. At the end of the round-robin phase, in which all the teams meet, the quarter-finals and semi-finals take place, before the finals, the highlight of the show. Winning as many matches as possible to place your team at the top of the table is the common goal of all competitors. Organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco, the Monaco Optimist Team Race has become a global benchmark for young international racers.

• Each year, the Yacht Club of Monaco becomes the central hub of the yachting world during the “La Belle Classe Superyachts” Economic Symposium.  This unmissable event, initiated in 2008 by the Yacht Club of Monaco, brings together key players from the luxury yachting industry. Yacht owners, shipyards, brokers, designers, captains, bankers, maritime experts, specialized lawyers, port directors, and organizers of boat shows gather to exchange ideas and discuss the issues shaping the sector.

• Theme : In line with the YCM’s sailing policy, having been initiated in the Melges 20 class in 2013 at the instigation of Valentin Zavadnikov, then the J/70s, the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series is a monthly programme of regattas and training weekends for one-design boats from December to March.

  It has proved a very successful format with more than 350 sailors coming from across Europe to set up their winter training base in the Principality to prepare for the upcoming season’s big meetings.

The Yacht Club’s Club House allows its members to keep their eyes riveted on the circuit and the exit from the tunnel leading to the chicane near the port, where the talent of the drivers makes all the difference.

• Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen, is celebrated every year on this summer day, organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco in collaboration with all Monegasque institutions (Monaco Town Hall, Société Nautique de Monaco, Association des Pontons de Monaco, Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Oceanographic Museum, Monaco Underwater Exploration Club, Association Monégasque de la Protection de la Nature…).
• Port Hercule will once again be celebrating the Fête de la Mer, with a large parade at sea. Sailing, motoring, rowing (…), all craft are welcome to take part.

Since its creation in 2005 on the initiative of Angelo Randazzo, President of the Circolo della Vela Sicilia, the Palermo-Montecarlo has quickly established itself as a major classic in the Mediterranean. Since 2016, it has been included in the calendar of the International Maxi Association (IMA), alongside the Rolex Middle Sea Race, the Volcano Race and the Rolex Giraglia.

For the most seasoned sailors, like Mauro Pelaschier, Jochen Schümann, Francesco Bruni, Philippe Monnet and Brad Butterworth, four-time winner of the America’s Cup, it’s a race against the clock to conquer a record; for others, it’s a real adventure lasting several days and nights at sea to be enjoyed with the family.

• Whether seasoned racers, sailors with disabilities, or able-bodied participants, everyone comes together on the Monegasque waters for the Navicap Challenge – Elena Sivoldaeva Trophy, organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco. This event provides specially adapted boats, enabling all competitors to take part regardless of their physical challenges. Through the Navicap Challenge project, the Y.C.M. demonstrates that sailing is a universal sport, capable of bringing people from all backgrounds together while highlighting the importance of accessibility and equal opportunities in the world of yachting.
