Hansa North Cup – Berck
30th March to 1st April
Sixty teams from different nationalities were on the start of this regatta for sailors with a disability, including two teams from Yacht Club de Monaco. The round robin phases held on the Saturday served to separate the fleet into Gold, Silver and Bronze groups.
Three days of friendly but fierce competition, passion and motivation followed, with the two Monegasque teams coming 11th in the Gold and 9th in the Silver.
YCM is committed to developing sailing for all and the Club’s participation echoed that of the Navicap Challenge – Elena Sivoldaeva Trophy, organised last December in Monaco.
Yacht Club de Monaco is all set to host the 2nd Navicap Challenge (29th November – 1st December 2024), launched under the leadership of YCM member Elena Sivoldaeva.
