RORC Transatlantic Race

On Sunday 12 January 2025, sails will be set to fly on the start of the 11th RORC Transatlantic Race, a 3,000 nautical mile race from the Lanzarote Marina in the Canaries to the Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada in the Caribbean. Organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, the event is supported by Calero Marinas, the International Maxi Association and Yacht Club de France. A major race on the offshore calendar, the contest is part of the prestigious RORC Championship that includes other great events such as the Rolex Middle Sea Race, the RORC Caribbean 600 and the Rolex Fastnet Race.
Yacht Club de Monaco represented
A regular in this event, Oren Nataf aboard the Pulsar 50 Rayon Vert will be on the start of the 2025 edition, sailing double-handed with François Seruzier. This experienced pair hope to repeat their previous exploits. In 2021, Rayon Vert took line honours as the first to cross the finish in real time after 9 days 2 hours 33 minutes 19 seconds of racing. The same year, the boat came 2nd in the MOCRA category of the Rolex Fastnet Race.
