In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 1.165 of December 23, 1993, on the protection of personal information, as amended, the information collected through the MEBC Simulator (hereinafter referred to as “the game”) is collected by the YCM, which acts as the data controller. 

As part of the operation of the game, the YCM processes personal information for the purpose of “Managing users of the MEBC Simulator”. 

This processing is part of the Yacht Club de Monaco’s missions, particularly within the framework of its “Monaco Energy Boat Challenge” event, and is justified by: 

• The consent of the individual concerned, who downloads and plays the game; 

• A legitimate interest: improving the user experience and providing multiplayer game features. 

The information processed as part of the game’s functionalities is intended for the YCM and is not communicated for commercial purposes. 

The information requested during the use of the Simulator includes: 

• Name (pseudonym): Used to identify a user in an online multiplayer game. This pseudonym is transmitted via a third-party server to enable interaction with other players. The pseudonym is stored only on the user’s device and can be deleted upon request within the application. 

• Application Activity: Timestamp, platform on which the application is running (e.g., Android), game mode (single/multiplayer; host/client). These data are stored on the server rented by the YCM and do not allow the identification of the user. 

 This information is retained only for the time necessary for the stated purpose. 

In accordance with the legal provisions in force regarding the protection of personal data, the user has the right to access their personal information, the right to object, as well as the right to request that inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data be rectified, updated, or deleted. 

To exercise their rights or for any questions regarding the processing of their personal data within the framework of the game, the user can submit a written request:

• By postal mail to: Yacht Club de Monaco – Legal Affairs Department – Quai Louis II – 98000 Monaco 

To ensure the confidentiality of the response and to verify that we are responding only to the data subject, a black and white identity document may be requested from the applicant. The user’s request will be fulfilled within one month of receipt. 

If the user believes, after contacting the YCM, that their rights have not been respected, they can file a complaint with the Commission for the Control of Personal Information: [www.ccin.mc](https://www.ccin.mc). 

The YCM reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be posted in the application, and your continued use of the application after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new privacy policy.
