Olivier Campana and Nicolas Milanesio represented Yacht Club de Monaco aboard a BMW i4 at the 8th E-Rallye Monte-Carlo, organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco from 15 to 18 October.

A 100% electric contest that counts toward the 2025 Bridgestone FIA Eco Rally Cup, the Monaco E-Rallye demands precision, endurance and energy strategy in an event with a 14 Regularity Stages’ route and more than 230 timed kilometres.

The Monaco pair who came 2nd in 2024 found themselves back in a particularly strong field of 59 teams from 18 nationalities, including several former Formula 1 drivers and winners of the Monte-Carlo Historic GP. After a grand start from Casino Square, the rally passed through the Alpes-Maritimes, the Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Piemonte in Italy, before returning via the Mercantour National Park on spectacular but very technical routes.

In an event where autonomy, precise trajectories and energy management are the weapons required, Olivier Campana and Nicolas Milanesio finished 35th showing consistency and an ability to keep pace with the top European specialists in this discipline.

Given the ongoing evolution of vehicles and ever more complex routes, the 2025 edition underlined Monaco’s pioneering role in promoting sustainable competitive mobility.
