YCM expertise deployed at the Olympics
Olympic Games – Marseille
3-9 August 2024
At the sailing events at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Yacht Club de Monaco, known for its expertise organising high-level events, again demonstrated its proficiency with the presence of YCM Race Director on the Race Committee for the IQFOils, ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 races.
Alongside him, Charles Terrin was also at sea as National Technical Officer for the 49er and 470 mixed events, while Robeena Evensen, a pivotal figure in YCM’s Flotte des Commissaires (volunteer stewards and officials), officiated as Jury Secretary, a key role that followed hard on the heels of her role as jury member during the 12M IR World Championship at Porquerolles in June, replacing Thierry Leret. With such involvement, Yacht Club de Monaco and its Flotte des Commissaires continue to assert themselves as a reference in sporting events.
