YCM claimed two podium finishes at the Swan Porto Rafael Challenge. Leonardo Ferragamo helmed Cuordileone into 3rd place in the ClubSwan 50 class, while Lorenzo Bortolotti also made it onto the 3rd step of the podium in the ClubSwan 28 on Black Swan. Both results were achieved at this brand new Sardinian regatta on the ClubSwan Racing circuit in the waters of the La Maddalena archipelago.

YCM members claim two podium finishes at the Swan Porto Rafael Challenge

For the first time, Porto Rafael hosted a stage of the ClubSwan Racing Nations League. Nestled on the north coast of Sardinia, facing the La Maddalena archipelago, the marina joined the calendar with fleets from the ClubSwan 50, ClubSwan 36 and ClubSwan 28 turning out in force.

For the ten ClubSwan 50s this event was the second stage of the season, the third for the nine contestants in the ClubSwan 28. The new race venue proved a worthy new addition, delivering a hotly contested regatta that went down to the wire in the final races.

Ferragamo and Bortolotti step up to the mark

In the ClubSwan 50 class, Leonardo Ferragamo led Cuordileone to a podium finish. Competing against a fleet of ten boats, the crew secured 3rd place, proving again their ability to be top contenders on the circuit.

It was the same scenario in the ClubSwan 28 class, as Lorenzo Bortolotti led Black Swan into 3rd place after seven races. In an evenly matched fleet, the podium finish was just reward for a well-controlled regatta that secured a top-tier result for the crew.

YCM members claimed two podium finishes in two different classes as they continue their strong run of results on the ClubSwan circuit. Leonardo Ferragamo and Lorenzo Bortolotti demonstrated the competitiveness of Monaco sailors at an event that made its debut on the Nations League calendar this year.
