Kitefoil – 52 Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofia – Mallorca | 31 March- 8 April
Saturday 8th April 2023. With the goal being to qualify in the kitefoil discipline at the upcoming Olympic Games, Alexander Ehlen makes it a point of honour to meet his deadlines in an epic way. So at the first major confrontation of the year for Olympic classes, the Trofeo S.A.R. Sofia, the young Monegasque showed he means business when up against the elite. The frenetic pace of the 16 races completed highlighted the mind-blowingly high level of the contestants, a taste of what awaits this Yacht Club de Monaco athlete. He proved impressively consistent as he climbed his way into 12th place in the final ranking.
