Engie Kite Tour – Saint-Raphaël

The fourth and final stage of the Engie Kite Tour has just wrapped up in Saint-Raphaël. This last windy event, organized by the Fréjus Multisport and Leisure Association (AMSLF) with the support of the French Sailing Federation (FFVoile), was a fitting conclusion to a thrilling season featuring 14 races in Twin-Tip and directional boards, 12 in wingfoil, and 10 in kitefoil.

Cap d’Agde (Hérault), Lorient-Gâvres (Morbihan), Saint-Jean-de-Monts (Vendée), and Fréjus (Var): true to tradition, the 2023 ENGIE Kite Tour made stops along both the Atlantic coast and the Mediterranean, offering diverse racing conditions to the many kiteboarders and wingfoilers who took part in this year’s circuit. In the Kitefoil category, Alexander Ehlen, rider for the Yacht Club de Monaco, secured an impressive 4th place in this final stage. In Wingfoil, the young Julian Choquenet, also representing Y.C.M., achieved a respectable 12th place.
