In addition to major sporting events like the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge and Monaco Classic Week, the Yacht Club de Monaco also hosts a variety of other prestigious gatherings. Nestled in the heart of the Principality, it comes alive with exceptional events throughout the year. As the true driving force of the harbor, the Club plays a key role in Monaco’s life, offering a range of exclusive and innovative activities. From high-level competitions to elegant social gatherings, each event is a unique opportunity to experience the art of yachting in an extraordinary setting.
The Y.C.M. organizes an annual No Limit Texas Holdem championship. From September to April, with one game per month, eight players have the opportunity to qualify for the Grand Final, which takes place in May. Open to all our adult members, this competition is a chance to meet other members who are passionate about this game, which combines strategy, psychology, and a touch of luck.
For over 10 years, the Y.C.M. has been inviting its members to participate in billiards tournaments held at the Club’s Lounge Library.
Men’s Doubles, Ladies Night, Mixed Tournament, Parent & Child Competition, Nations Cup, and Intercontinental Cup—the Y.C.M. organizes a variety of tournaments that allow everyone to participate in fun, festive, and competitive evenings that encourage interaction with other members.
The traditional backgammon tournaments at the Monaco Yacht Club bring together members of all ages and skill levels.
In addition to the historic Spring and Fall tournaments (competitions with doubling dice) attended by the YCM’s best players, the Club organizes two tournaments during the summer, around the pool, to develop the competitive spirit of up-and-coming amateurs.
