Argynne III shone at Les Dames de Saint-Tropez 2026. Helmed by Anne Rodelato from Yacht Club de Monaco, this Marconi classic finished 2nd in the Classic category and 4th in the all-female category at the end of an edition held in the bay of Saint-Tropez.  Contestants enjoyed a weekend of two beautiful days of sailing before the last race was cancelled due to a massive swell.

Argynne III shines at Les Dames de Saint-Tropez

Organised by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, Les Dames de Saint-Tropez stands out as special on the Mediterranean calendar. Since its launch in 2012, the regatta has been attracting the most beautiful classic sailing yachts to race, under one simple proviso that a woman be at the helm. In the Vieux-Port every year the fleet combines all the elegance of the classics with the spirit of racing, where on the water the atmosphere remains competitive, despite the friendly atmosphere that is such a feature of this event.

Two days of intense racing before a premature end

Contrasting conditions at this 13th edition saw back-to-back races the first two days in good conditions for the 150+ crew members at the event.  However, a heavy swell on the last day forced the organisers to cancel the races scheduled and prioritise the fleet’s safety.

A double podium for Argynne III

Argynne III remained consistent throughout the weekend. Helmed by Anne Rodelato, the Marconi classic clinched 2nd place in the Classic category behind Maria Giovanna II, while also finishing 4th in the all-female category. As well as the good results on the water, the crew put in a great performance ashore by winning the all-important pétanque tournament organised in Place des Lices.

A regatta that focuses on team spirit as much as performance

This year again, Argynne III shone at Les Dames de Saint-Tropez in a competitive yet always very friendly atmosphere.  The regatta is not just about the final rankings, as it thrives on a collective atmosphere where experienced women sailors, crews and those who love classic yachts share several days together. This 2026 edition confirmed once again that the formula, where sporting performance, the elegance of classic yachts and a friendly atmosphere ashore, remains unchanged.
