Andrea Zaoli wins title on Chocolate

The crew on Chocolate wasted no time in setting the pace. After winning the first race, they pulled off two more victories in the third and fourth races. It made for a strong start that allowed them to build a significant lead early on, despite a lowly 11th place in the second race that was deducted from their final score. A fleet at the mercy of the weather

The wind did not always play ball and after four races on the first day, competitors were forced to wait it out ashore the next day due to lack of suitable conditions. Three more races eventually got underway to determine the final ranking for the fleet.

Despite the unpredictable weather conditions, Chocolate with YCM member Andrea Zaoli on board kept their lead to claim the title ahead of the British team on Kestra and Swiss team on New Skin.
