At the Riva Trophy Yacht Club de Monaco rack up the prizes

YCM members were in the spotlight at the Riva Trophy. Held between Monaco and Pampelonne as part of the Riva Raduni, the 2026 edition saw members do the YCM proud both at sea and ashore. With a podium finish in the regularity race and several individual awards, Club members reaffirmed their commitment to an event that celebrates sailing, elegance, and the art of living in equal measure.

Around a dozen Yacht Club de Monaco members were competing in this 16th edition. The best performance came from Dominic Hollamby, who steered his L’Alchimiste to an impressive 2nd place finish in the 43.3 nautical mile regularity race.

Behind him, Tommaso Battistello came 7th aboard Argento Vivo, ahead of Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen, 11th on Auguri II, and Dominique Trinquet, 12th with Rafale.

Following on were Alessandro Falzioni, 17th on Masayume, then Darius Ahrabian on Moneypenny, Reza Toutouni with Vanquish II, Sandra Ahrabian on Aristocrat, and Bertrand Letartre aboard Vitis.

This strong showing reflects Yacht Club de Monaco’s commitment to an event where navigational precision is just as important as the camaraderie among competitors. 

An impressive haul of awards for YCM representatives

The awards ceremony also awarded prizes to Yacht Club de Monaco members who were on the receiving end of an impressive array of accolades.

Argento Vivo received the Youngest Crew Prize for this edition.

For her standout performance all-round with Aristocrat, Sandra Ahrabian won the Vintage Contest Prize and the Brigitte Bardot Award, that recognises the spirit on display throughout the event, as well as 3rd prize in the Concours d’Élégance (Elegance Parade).

Meanwhile, Dominique Trinquet, aboard Rafale, won the Quiz Prize, and Reza Toutouni the Concours d’Élégance, taking first prize with Vanquish II.

YCM were in the spotlight at the Riva Trophy confirming once again their tendency to stand out in every aspect of this event, from nautical competitions to those showcasing the heritage, elegance and unique nature of these mahogany gems from a bygone era.

An unmissable event for motorboating enthusiasts

Every year, the Riva Trophy invites owners to come and share their passion for boats from the famous Italian boatyard. The regularity race, elegance parade and a wide range of activities ensure this event is a “must” on the Mediterranean nautical calendar.

With a podium finish in the regularity race and six other awards, Yacht Club de Monaco representatives left the 2026 edition with their heads held high.
