Expedition – Sir Ernst
Thursday 23rd September 2021. The Boréal 47 Sir Ernst continues her route. After calling in to the Canaries, the crew set sail for Cape Verde from Marina San Miguel on Tenerife in a brisk 25-knot north-easterly trade wind. Braving a heavy sea for several hours after her departure, the boat is now eating up the miles with the crew taking turns to be on watch. After Cape Verde, the Boréal 47 begins her Atlantic crossing and descent to Uruguay which they should reach in November. On board is Yacht Club de Monaco member Fabrice Papazian who is one of the crew members, all equally passionate about adventure and the White Continent.
