3rd for Giangiacomo Serena di Lapigio 

J/70 Italia Cup – Porto Ecole | 14-16 April

Sunday 16^th April 2023. One of the most competitive events ever organised by the Italian J/70 Class ended this afternoon at Porto Ercole, where a 35-strong fleet were competing in the first stage of the J/70 Cup 2023. Favourable weather conditions saw eight hotly contested races completed, the overall winner only emerging on the final leg to the finish of the last race. G-Spot led by Giangiacomo Serena di Lapigio of Yacht Club de Monaco kept up the pressure in a bid to make the podium’s top step, but despite some excellent races he came 3^rd tied in 2^nd place and just one point adrift of the top spot. Stefano Roberti on Piccinina finished an honourable 7^th.
