J/70 – Helga Cup – Hamburg

Sunday, June 11, 2023. The Helga Cup is a flagship event for women’s sailing, attracting sailors from all over the world to race on Lake Alster. For the sixth edition, 340 sailors, 64 teams and 11 nations took part in this regatta, which welcomes both seasoned and novice sailors, the idea being to encourage the exchange of sailing skills. The Monegasque Pink Wave team was at the start of a format consisting of short 10-12 minute races. With a crew comprising Anne Schouten, Michaela Theux-Lowen, Olympic 470 champion Saskia Clark and Kathrin Hoyos, the YCM boat finished mid-table after winning one of the races.
