Smeralda 888 – Match Race – 20-21 February 2021

 

Monday 15th February 2021. The Smeralda 888 fleet will be meeting again this weekend for a Match Race regatta, the America’s Cup format, with six to eight boats sailing one against another in a succession of duels.

 

Qualifying rounds will be followed by semi-finals and finals. Although the meeting does not count towards the class’s 2021 Championship it promises to be a fun and apt way for participants to warm-up before the Primo Cup-Trophée Credit Suisse (4-7 March). Racing starts Saturday 20th February at 12 noon, with some fine duels in the offing.
