RC44 – World Championship – Scarlino – 06-10 October 2021

Sunday 10th October 2021. Nico Poons’ crew (Charisma) kept up the pace to the bitter end, taking every opportunity to stay in the top group and win the last race of the championship to clinch 2nd place in this 11th World Championship. A close-fought edition as the level has gone up a notch as evidenced by the last race which saw the first eight finishing within 20 seconds after 40 minutes of racing. In contact from start to finish, Torbjorn Tornqvist (Artemis Racing) didn’t miss a beat to claim the podium’s third step. Vladimir Prosikhin (Team Nika) came in 6th.
