Melges World League Event 2 – Puntaldia

Sunday 28^th May 2023. The second event on the circuit served to rack up the tension in the provisional overall ranking of this class. Won by Matteo Marenghi Vaselli (Raya) closely followed by Vladimir Prosikhin (Nika), both from YCM, the first meeting had left the door open to some great battles on the water. The Melges World League Event 2 confirmed that scenario with victory going this time to Vladimir Prosikhin (Nika) with Matteo Marenghi Vaselli (Raya) in 2^nd. At this rate, the two YCM members are on course for a royal battle when the fleet meets again 1-3 September in Porto Ercole for the follow-up.
