44Cup Marstrand – Marstrand

Sunday 2^nd July 2023. Eight races in four days for this Swedish stage of the circuit from which Yacht Club de Monaco’s Nico Poons emerged victorious on Charisma. A result that could not be achieved without a great team explained the man who won the 44Cup in 2022: “It was a good week. We were quite stable and ended up with a good lead over the others. It’s about keeping the team on message and focused”. Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika from YCM finished 4^th, five points off the podium while Torbjorn Tornqvist (Artemis Racing) was 8^th. The next step will be in Cowes, Isle of Wight from 9-13 August for the 44Cup World Championship.
