44Cup Marstrand – Marstrand
Sunday 2nd July 2023. Eight races in four days for this Swedish stage of the circuit from which Yacht Club de Monaco’s Nico Poons emerged victorious on Charisma. A result that could not be achieved without a great team explained the man who won the 44Cup in 2022: “It was a good week. We were quite stable and ended up with a good lead over the others. It’s about keeping the team on message and focused”. Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika from YCM finished 4th, five points off the podium while Torbjorn Tornqvist (Artemis Racing) was 8th. The next step will be in Cowes, Isle of Wight from 9-13 August for the 44Cup World Championship.
