Optimist – World Championship – Costa Brava

Although weather conditions prevented racing on four days, young Riccardo Hai Gessa from Yacht Club de Monaco managed a well-deserved 76th out of 248 entrants, this being not only his first year in the Minime (13-15yrs) category but also the first time he’s been entered for a World Championship, which augurs well for the future. YCM’s Optimist Competition Team will be in action again 15-21 July 2023, this time for the International Summer Cup in Perros Guirec, Britanny.
