ClubSwan
Saturday 16th September 2023. ClubSwan Racing celebrated new European champions this weekend after two exciting regattas at two remarkable Mediterranean sites. In ClubSwan50, they had to wait till the last day of racing for the final result, a category that saw Graeme Peterson (Moonlight) and Leonardo Ferragamo (Cuordileone), both from Yacht Club de Monaco, finishing high up the leader board in 6th and 9th respectively. Organised by Club Maritimo de Mahon on the east coast of Minorca, the event lived up to its reputation as a tightly fought contest with six different winners of the seven races completed. Meanwhile in Sardinia, the ClubSwan 36s were racing close to the extraordinary marine protected area of Tavolara Punta Coda Cavallo on the pristine north-east coast. Eight races were completed in four days of racing, with YCM’s Giangiacomo Serena di Lapigio (G Spot) clinching a well-deserved 3rd place.
