Tre Golfi Sailing Week – IMA Maxi European Championship

Sunday 21^st May. Organised by the Circolo Remo e Vela Italia, in cooperation with the IMA, ORC, UVAI, Yacht Club Italiano and Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, under the patronage of the FIV, Tre Golfi Sailing Week combines inshore racing and an offshore challenge. The three flagship events for the 2023 edition included the 68^th Regata dei Tre Golfi, a stage in the Italian Offshore Championship FIV 2023, the Maxi European Championship, including a long-distance race along the Regata dei Tre Golfi course, and the ORC Mediterranean Championship with three days of inshore races. The programme kicked off with the Tre Golfi offshore event on three courses set round the Napolitan jewels – Ischia, Ponza and Li Galli – for multi-hulls, Maxis and ORC and IRC sailing boats. Benoît de Froidmont (Wallyno) from Yacht Club de Monaco finished 8^th in corrected time and 13^th in real time.
