Two boats in the top five

Ligue SUD Catamaran Inter-series qualifier – 19-20 February 2022

Sunday 20^th February 2022. Back in the saddle the Nacra 15 teams from YCM’s Sports Section were on form. The pairs were in Cannes for their first regatta of the season which also counts as a qualifier Ligue Sud (southern league) event for the catamaran inter-series. Louise De Beaumont and Julian Choquenet who are used to racing together pulled of a solid 7^th place ahead of Namu Van der Linden paired with Romane Flaujac in 10^th.  Note an excellent result for Lucas Frederiksen and Valentine Basire who made it onto the podium in 3^rd just ahead of François Lamy and Léa Scano. The event concluded an intense week of training at Iles de Lérins where all had a chance to work on their techniques, tactics and strategy.
