Smeralda 888 – Coppa Europa Smeralda – Porto Cervo

Sunday 9^th July 2023. During four days of racing the 11 teams completed seven races which concluded in bright sunshine and a brisk breeze up to 18 knots. Class President Charles de Bourbon des Deux Siciles on Vamos Mi Amor pulled off a superb win ahead of Achille Onorato’s L’Orange followed by Mascalzone Latino led by Vincenzo Onorato. The compact level of the fleet coupled with close finishes in hotly contested races put tactics at the heart of their strategy. The next meeting is in Barcelona 22-24 September.
