The Australian 100-footer Black Jack 100, skippered by Peter Harburg from Yacht Club de Monaco, took line honours as the first to cross the finish in Genoa at 11:33:16 on Thursday 15th June after 23 hours 30 minutes 16 seconds of racing. A faultless performance for this magnificent Maxi which led the 215 nautical mile race from the start. Also in real time, Guido Miani (Arca SGR) crossed the line in 6th ahead of Peter Harrison (Jolt 3) 14th, Benoit de Froidmont (Wallyno) 24th, Valter Pizzoli (Les Amis) 29th and Leonardo Bonelli (Suspiria the Revenge) 40th. In corrected time, Peter Harrison (Jolt 3) came 7th, Benoit de Froidmont (Wallyno) 9th, Guido Miani (Arca SGR) 14th, Peter Harburg (Black Jack 100) 28th and Loïc Pompée (Le Joy) 86th. Note that in ORC, Leonardo Bonelli (Suspiria the Revenge) came 2nd and Valter Pizzoli (Les Amis) 13th. In the combined results rankings for the race in Sanremo, the Inshore Regatta and offshore race, Peter Harburg (Black Jack 100) finished 9th overall in the Maxi 1 class, Benoit de Froidmont (Wallyno) was 2nd in Maxi 2 and Valter Pizzoli (Les Amis) topped the ORC 0 ranking, as did Leonardo Bonelli (Suspiria the Revenge) in the ORC 1-2 group.
