Smeralda 888 – Coupe de l’Hippocampe | 21-23 April

Sunday 23rd April 2023. The Smeralda 888 fleet headed to Saint-Tropez for stage two of the 2023 Championship. The 12 teams completed nine races in a fluctuating 5 to 12 knot breeze. Given how even the high level of this fleet is, it was a tightly fought contest with victory eventually going to Roberto Tamburelli on Botta Dritta ahead of Mascalzone Latino led by Vincenzo Onorato. Class President Charles de Bourbon des Deux Siciles finished 3rd on Vamos mi Amor. These ‘Gentlemen Racers’ will meet again in Calvi 2-4 June for the Corsica Cup.
