Sunday 24^th September 2023. Planet IMOCA was to be found at the 13^th Défi Azimut of pure all-out-speed Runs and the meeting’s flagship 48H Azimut, solo or with crew. Some 30 boats competed on the Breton race area including Boris Herrmann from Yacht Club de Monaco on Malizia-Seaexplorer which finished 7^th.

The German skipper, IMOCA Globe Series 2018-2021 champion, is pursuing his offshore adventure following the Route du Rhum and then The Ocean Race, a crewed round the world in stages challenge in which the team came 3^rd.

Boris Herrmann was competing in the Défi Azimut alongside co-skipper Will Harris with whom he will line up on the start of the Transat Jacques Vabre on 29^th October. Ahead lies a 5,400 nautical mile double-hander race from Le Havre to Martinique.
