MCY Channel

 

The first programme produced inhouse by the Yacht Club de Monaco for the MCY Channel takes you behind the scenes of the yachting sector. Every two months, a 5-10 minute slot brings you the latest news from Monaco on luxury yachting, sailing regattas and the YCM. It’s all part of the ‘Monaco Capital of Yachting project to position the Principality as a centre of excellence.

Special reports, exclusive interviews and yachting professions are just some of the topics featured in each episode over the coming weeks. In the first episode with On Deck, MCY Channel takes you aboard Seaexplorer-Yacht Club de Monaco, skippered by Boris Herrmann in the recent Vendée Globe, before heading to Auckland New Zealand where the 36th America’s Cup has just been won by Team New Zealand.
In Full Immersion you meet a yacht captain who gives the low down on his profession while the Wide Angle sector analyses the issues and objectives of the SEA Index, the first benchmark to measure CO2 emissions on superyachts.

Finally En coup de vent is a whistle-stop tour of the best yachting shots seen on the net, followed by an Agenda of upcoming events at the Yacht Club de Monaco.
