2025: new chapter for Cluster Yachting Monaco

The year 2025 marks an important new chapter in the history of the Cluster Yachting Monaco with the arrival of Arthur Bohr, Monaco Site Director and Key Account Director at Monaco Marine, and Olivier Lavagna, Executive Director of the SEPM (Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco) as the new vice-presidents. Their expertise and vision are set to guide the association into another phase of growth and development within the yachting industry.

For Olivier Lavagna, the role is a natural fit with Ports de Monaco’s mission: “It seems logical to me for Ports de Monaco to be involved in developing Cluster Yachting Monaco in its role as a communication platform for the many yachting players based in the Principality. I will give my all to ensure we play our part”.

For his part, Arthur Bohr stressed the importance of this collective and expressed his gratitude: “I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the trust you have placed in me by electing me to be a Vice-President of our association. It is an honour and privilege to be able to work alongside you to progress our common mission, defend our values and interests, and promote our industry in the world capital of yachting that is Monaco. I am convinced that thanks to our collaboration and collective commitment we can do great things together. Rest assured I will do everything possible to serve our association and contribute to its influence and that of the Principality”.

Tribute to the past leadership

Arrival of the two new vice-presidents saw tributes paid to the outgoing Espen Oeino (Espen Oeino International) and Édouard Mousny (Gordon S. Blair) who played key roles as vice-presidents for the first ten years of the association. Their involvement has been instrumental in building the strength and vison of Cluster Yachting Monaco. Although their roles may have changed they continue to bring their invaluable expertise to the table as members of the Board of Directors.

New blood to the Board of Directors

Other new members to the Board include newcomers to the Cluster, Rachel Fisher (JMS Yachting), Eleonora Pitasso (Burgess) and Alex Treleani (Novamarine Monaco). With their experience, these professionals bring even more diversity and expertise to the Cluster Yachting Monaco.

Cluster Yachting Monaco’s future

“The unwavering commitment and expertise of our members, boosted by the arrival of newcomers to the Board is proof of the dynamic spirit driving the Cluster Yachting Monaco. It reflects our desire to continue developing yachting with a passion,” says Bernard d’Alessandri, YCM General Secretary and President of Cluster Yachting Monaco.

With the new team, the association continues its mission to unite industry players and promote innovative sustainable solutions for a sector determined to reduce its impact on the environment. An ambition inscribed in the collective Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting approach.
