A sustainable yachting
For several years, the Yacht Club de Monaco has been committed to transitioning towards a responsible and environmentally-focused approach. At the heart of the yachting ecosystem, the Club plays an essential role as a platform for sharing. The yachting industry is undergoing significant change, and raising awareness and engaging stakeholders within this industry, as well as our members, is at the core of our mission. The following initiatives are dedicated to driving change in the world of yachting, fostering a positive dynamic through innovation and collaboration, and enabling informed decision-making.
SeAdventure Camp
Sport section
The new generation is being made aware of the marine environment during SeAdventure Camps with visits to the Oceanographic Museum, coastal walks and lessons in values and rules that need to be respected when at sea.
YCM Blue Pledge
Drafted in collaboration with the Superyacht Captains of the Captains’ Club of the Yacht Club of Monaco and Claire Ferandier Sicard, an expert in environmental actions on board yachts, this Eco Charter aims to achieve a common goal: to support yacht crews and assist them in reducing their environmental impact while respecting the needs of modern yachting.
Aqua Sail
AQUA SAIL
Aqua Sail is an initiative of the Yacht Club de Monaco dedicated to raising environmental awareness of water use within the various user communities.
