TF35 Malcesine Cup – 8-11 September 2022

 

Sunday 11th September 2022. For the second half of the season, this fleet travelled to the northeast shores of Lake Garda, Italy, one of the best sites in the world for foiling catamarans. The offer of sailing in 10 to 20 knot winds on flat water is ideal for the TF35s, and the meeting did not disappoint. Even in a 12-knot breeze, top speeds of 20 knots upwind and over 30 knots downwind were recorded.  Esteban Garcia (Realteam for Léman hope) from YCM thwarted many an attack to stay in the lead pack, finally clinching 3rd place.
