Tuiga dethrones rivals

Sunday 11^th September 2022. Twenty-three editions and not a wrinkle for this Mediterranean classic. Once again, YCM made a good impression judging by the victory of the gaff cutter Tuiga. The 15M IR Club Ambassador ousted the competition in the Big Boats class, taking 1^st place a comfortable six points ahead of her rivals. Carlo Falcone’s Mariella, a 1938 Fife design which won the 2021 Monaco Classic Week Trophy came 3^rd. In the overall ranking all categories combined of the Spirit of Tradition, Tuiga came 17^th with Mariella, 30^th. In a few days, the classic fleet heads for the Régates Royales in Cannes.
