Maxi – Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez – 03-10 October 2021
Sunday 10th October 2021. The 23rd Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez ended in style with the race area full of the big modern and Maxi boats crewed by no fewer than 800 sailors from 30 nationalities. Despite the contrasting weather conditions this week, a succession of races allowed crews to fully exploit the formidable potential of these boats. YCM members flew the Principality’s flag high, with Claus-Peter Offen on his Y3K finishing 4th just ahead of Joost Schuijff (Leopard 3) in 5th in the battle for the North Sails Trophy, IRC category. In the IRC3B, Benoit de Froidmont (Wallyno) came 6th.
