E-Sailing Autumn Championship
Sunday 13th December 2020. Thirty-four seasoned and amateur sailors have been meeting remotely every week for a month to participate in the E-Sailing Autumn Championship on J/70s, organised on Virtual Regatta Inshore by the Yacht Club de Monaco.

Nine races were completed in the qualifying rounds, led with panache by Tangi Le Goff followed by Matteo Scandolera. Mathis Duplomb, a young racer from the YCM’s Sports Section kept up the pace to finish a comfortable 3rd and go through to the finals. The grand finale proved as intense as the championship. After four races, the top three remained unchanged. Big congratulations to Mathis for finishing 3rd but equal on points with the 2nd place. A remotely fitting end to a highly unusual
