10th Monaco Energy Boat Challenge
Displaying the updated participation rules & program for the 10th edition of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, under the aegis of the collective Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting umbrella brand by Yacht Club de Monaco. The event gathers universities and industries around the sustainability in yachting & alternative propulsion systems.
This year for the 10th anniversary edition, we will be welcoming/anticipating over 50 electrical units on water, some using hydrogen, participating in the Solar, Energy & Open Sea Class but also on the organisational side. The Notice of Challenge for the Solar & Energy Class is now published on the MEBC Website announcing to the teams the updated challenge rules & program. The Notice of Challenge for the Open Sea Class, the Sailing Instructions & the technical rules will follow soon on the website.
The next milestone for the teams will be the opening of the pre-registration online on September 15th.
What’s new in the race program for the Energy & Solar Class this year?
Aside from the traditional slalom & championship races, the teams in the Solar & Energy Class will face a new challenge with the modification of the endurance race which will now go for 4h! A great way to display the durability & efficiency of their alternative propulsion systems.
