New generation steps up 

Optimist – Regional Regatta – Bormes les Mimosas – 9 October 

Sunday 9^th October 2022. With around 100 contestants on the water, the regional regatta at Bormes-les-Mimosas is a good opportunity to take the temperature of the competition. In the Minime (13-15 years) category, Ludovica Bonelli finished 13^th, Alexandre Pompée 22^nd and Alexandra Santelli 32^nd. A clutch of new recruits were also out to discover the highs and lows of competition like Roman Lampert, Océane Schroeder and Frederik Holst. In the Benjamins (12-13 years), Facundo Rubinelli made it 11^th and Joséphine Dobbelaere 14^th and 2^nd in the girls. Pietro Carlevaris, Louis Pompée and Jules Huon finished 30^th, 32^nd and 34^th respectively.
