Optimist – Ligue – San Bartolomeo

24-25 April 2021. Another regatta and more success for the young racers in the Yacht Club de Monaco’s Sports Section. It was again in Italy, this time at San Bartolomeo where our sailors did not fail to impress. In a light variable 3 to 10 knot breeze, 55 contestants completed four races with YCM’s Ludovica Bonelli coming an excellent 2^nd and winning the event in the girls category. Noah Garcia was just behind her in 3^rd followed by Matteo Asscher in 4^th. Namu van Der Linden finished 14^th pipping Alexandre Pompée to the post into 15^th, with Alessandro Asscher 31^st.
