SEA Index is a non-profit organization established by the Yacht Club de Monaco and Credit Suisse as part of the Monaco, Capital of Yachting initiative. The SEA Index demonstrates the commitment of the Principality of Monaco as a center of excellence, innovation and environmental leadership in the field of yachting.

Our Vision
This initiative responds to a growing demand from owners who want to calculate the energy impact of their yacht and be a part of the transformation towards a more sustainable future. It is they who provide the impetus, call on the shipyards and finance the research and development associated with their project.
SEA INDEX
Our Tool
The SEA Index is a tailor-made tool that compares the energy- intensity of a yacht with the rest of the evaluated average fleet. It is available online so that shipowners, captains and other yachting professionals can carry out a “non-binding” assessment.
